Arrahm is a valiant warrior king. He alone wields the power of the sun. His priests are tasked with many missions - from spreading the faith through sermons & prayer to burning away all that is dark and unholy in his name.
While you can pray to him for safety in battle, you're better off praying your blade will meet its mark. He is associated with ideals of Holy War, Divine Justice, Cosmic Order and Cleansing Light.
Arrahm is often depicted with a red mane, wearing gleaming bronze plate and wielding a flaming sword. In some art his muscled flesh is covered in the scars of countless battles. Fierce debate over centuries has existed within the clergy over wether or not this depiction is heretical, leading to competing sects within the faith. The Brothers of Arrmir claim it is written in the Letters of Akaar that "nothing in this world can pierce the holy godflesh."
In the modern day he is seen as a master of strategy. In some older stories he wins through divine providence, though this has largely fallen out of fashion. His strongest devotees are often war clerics, knights and kings.
His temples light great fires as they are built and are tasked with keeping the flames burning evermore. While you can pray to him for safety in battle, you're better off praying your blade will meet its mark.
Faithful often partake in elaborate ritual before & after battle (some much older sects of the cult still use fresh blood as part of the ceremonies.) Some rare priests, often Paragons of the Great Pyre, can bless the weapons of those with true faith - wreathing them in a holy radiance.
Arrahm is the brother of Raia The Maiden, Godess of Harvest and Fertility. The light of his sun gives her plants warmth and in turn the life she gives us all may be spent in reverent prayer and grattitude for this divine gift.
